The Unseen Importance of Terminals in Everyday Life
Most of us interact with a terminal almost daily, even if we don’t realize it. Terminals are everywhere: at airports, in logistics parks, at the end of rail lines, and at the start of long-haul bus routes. They’re where journeys begin, transitions happen, and goods are handed off from one mode of transport to another.
While the terminal might be the most overlooked part of the supply and transit chain, it's also one of the most vital. Without efficient terminal operations, flights wouldn’t depart on time, cargo wouldn’t reach destinations, and passengers wouldn’t transfer smoothly between connections.
