Ukrainian Art Doll Lada with Cross-Stitched Outfit

This gorgeous handmade Ukrainian Hutsul (Carpathian) doll Lada was created with a traditional hand-embroidered costume. I was researching the Hutsul clothes, which are unique and very vibrant, and applied them to this doll: leather shoes "postoly", a unique headpiece. I also wanted to make a special " keptar " - a traditional Hutsul region vest made of sheep skin. The cross-stitched embroidery is made in red and black colors - traditional colors in Ukraine. The traditional headpiece is hand-decorated with a matching blue and yellow ribbon. Ukrainian Hutsul doll Lada is the best present for your daughter, mother, or granddaughter.
