Interview – Africa depends on Egypt for natural gas
In a special interview with Al-Masry Al-Youm, NJ Ayuk African Energy Chamber, it was stated that Egypt is Africa's primary natural gas supply, which will transform the continent. Ayuk clarified that Cairo will be involved in the chamber's ambitions to open a branch in North Africa. Alongside talks to transfer gas between African states through extending gas pipelines, small projects are being developed to set up liquefied gas plants, which may inject billions of dollars into the continent's economy.
